Elizabeth has been involved with seniors in the community from a young age. Having a mother who worked for a nursing home, Elizabeth had the opportunity to spend holiday breaks and inservice days volunteering with the residents, which is where her love for the elderly developed.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the College of Mount Saint Joseph. She completed additional coursework at The Ohio State University, and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Ohio. Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations, sales and marketing and business development.
“It is my passion to care for the elderly, and others too, but it was my growing up years that have attached me to the elderly population.”
Brooke spent much of her childhood with her grandparents and great aunts, so when it came time to choose a course of study in college, health and gerontology were a natural fit.
Brooke earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She has over 20 years of experience with patients and families in the community, nursing homes and hospitals. She helps provide support, coordinate care and assist in finding clinical resources to best meet each clients needs.
“I don’t have magical powers or some secret,” she shares, “I just listen to the person and let them know they are important. It’s amazing when you ask an elderly person an easy question like ‘what was your favorite sport growing up?’ What a conversation it can spark and make them happy that someone is interested in their life.”
